Today is Media Specialist Day and we are thankful to have the very best. Mrs. Besenyi has a strong passion for literacy and especially for our students. With Mrs. Besenyi's leadership and the support of Mrs. Jeniece, our media center is a fun and engaging place to be for students and staff. We are so thankful for you both!!! 📚

Today, we had the honor of recognizing Ella as the Exceptional Military Student from Margaret K. Lewis School. We are deeply grateful to Ella and her family members for their dedicated service and sacrifice in support of our nation.

Throughout the month of April, El Weirdo is proud to partner with MKL to showcase artwork created by students in our ARTism program. Student pieces will be on display and available for purchase, highlighting the creativity and talent of our learners.
In addition, El Weirdo will donate $1 to the ARTism program for every non-alcoholic beverage purchased during the month.
We invite you to stop by, enjoy great food, experience inspiring student art, and support a meaningful cause. Be sure to let them know you are there to support MKL!

Thank you to our incredible community partners, Florida Power & Light, for their generous donation to Margaret K. Lewis School. FPL holds an annual cake auction and donates the proceeds directly back into the community. We think that is pretty "sweet."

We had a great time at family art night. We learned about cooperation and made textured art together.

Congratulations to Brayden Morris, our Overall Eagle of the Month! Brayden consistently shows what it means to SOAR by being Successful, Optimistic, Ambitious, and Responsible every single day. We are so proud of you! 💙💛
A huge shoutout as well to Samantha Bennett, our SOARing Staff Member! She goes above and beyond for our students and school community, modeling our SOAR expectations in everything she does.

Ms. Glinos' class took a trip around the world to finish up their Geography unit.
