What a special day for the Mowat family!
Thanks to the efforts of former Mowat student Jerry Watkins, members of the Class of 1967 basketball team and cheerleaders came together to celebrate their shared history, friendships, and unforgettable memories.
Adding to the excitement, their beloved coach, Coach Ross, traveled all the way from North Carolina to surprise the group here in Panama City! Coach Ross led the Mowat basketball program from 1965–1967 and guided the team to its first undefeated season — a milestone that still makes Mowat proud nearly six decades later.
It’s moments like these that remind us that once you’re part of the Mowat family, you’re always part of it. 💙
